I’m passionate about helping people grow in Christ and helping the local church become a healthy, Spirit-led community where people can belong, grow, and serve. I’ve spent much of my life serving in ministry through preaching, leadership, discipleship, and supporting the everyday work of the church.

I am an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), a Wesleyan-Pentecostal denomination, and I believe the church is at its best when it is grounded in Scripture, led by the Holy Spirit, and marked by grace, truth, and genuine community. I currently serve as the Executive Pastor at SpiritLife Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Outside of ministry, I enjoy theology (all the books), technology (when it works), creative projects, strategy games, painting, music—especially funk and jazz—and spending time with my family. My wife, Stevie, and I have three boys. Our dog has three brain cells. And the cat wants to be held and fed snacks.

Above all, I want my life and ministry to point people toward Jesus. He’s the best!
